Arusha National Park is a small but diverse wildlife park in northern Tanzania, near the city of Arusha. Covering about 552 square kilometers (213 square miles), it is known for its varied landscapes, including Mount Meru (4,566m), lush rainforests, open savannah, and the beautiful Momella Lakes.
Because of its proximity to Arusha (about 40 minutes by car), the park is a great choice for a day trip or a short safari before heading to Serengeti or Ngorongoro.
