3 Day Tanzania Safari

This tour takes you to three of Tanzania’s most popular destinations: Tarangire, Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The tour starts and ends in Arusha. With our experienced drivers, you will visit three of the largest and most popular parks in the Northern Circuit and stay overnight in tents at public campsites outside the parks. It will be a once in a lifetime trip!

Day 1 :

1. Day

Arusha– Tarangire National Park

Driving Distance: 120km, almost: 2 hours Wildlife Viewing Time: 7 hours Activities: Game Drives Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 06:00 am and drive to Tarangire National Park. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The park has one of the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. After the game drives in Tarangire National Park and picnic lunch, start your journey to your hotel in Karatu arriving late in the evening. Dinner & Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2 :

Ngorongoro Crater

Driving Distance: 30km, : 30 minutes Wildlife Viewing Time: 8 hours Activities: Game Drives Pick up from your hotel in Karatu after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater (19.2km of diameter, 610m deep, and 304 sq km) is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Its huge population of predators is another big draw card to this crater. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, this breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands. After the game drives in the crater and picnic lunch, start your journey back to your hotel in Karatu arriving late in the evening. Dinner & Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge. Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha Driving Distance: 120km, almost: 2 hours Activities: Game Drives

Pick up from your hotel in Karatu at 08:00 am and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Tanzania’s most dramatically located park with its massive but shallow soda lake, covering two thirds of the park on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Ernest Hemingway extolled this scenic gem as ‘the loveliest I had seen in Africa’. After the game drives in Lake Manyara National Park and picnic lunch, start your journey back to your hotel in Arusha arriving late in the evening around 1800hrs. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
